Hamburg Mountain (WMA)
The Hamburg Mountain (WMA) with its 3,600 acres is for those hikers who enjoy the challenge of bushwhacking or following unmarked woods roads and want to be away from crowds. Elevations range from 700 to 1,495 feet. Great for bird watching.

- The Beaver Lake Rail Trail is south of NJ 23, across from the main wildlife management area tract (See Directions to Trailhead for GPS). Part of the abandoned Hanford Branch of the New York, Susquehanna and Western Railroad, it spans three miles from Beaver Lake Road to Ogdensburg.
