From the Morristown National Historical Park:
Starting August 16, 2021, employees from the park's maintenance division will begin working on replacing existing culverts on the Grand Loop Trail with new pipes. This work will be performed in an effort to help maintain the trail and prevent any damage from occurring due to erosion. The work will be taking place on the Grand Loop trail between Tempe Wick Road and the Mendham Trail Road. During this time, this area will be closed to park visitors. Park visitors who are using the Grand Loop trail will be able to take the posted detour around the work.
