Ramapo Valley Reservation Map provided by the Trail Conference

Ramapo Valley Reservation Map and TrailsThis free Ramapo Valley Reservation map is provided by the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference. It is also available as a free app map on your phone using the Avenza Maps app, so be sure to download it here.

The map is adapted from North Jersey Trails, a two-map set published by the Trail Conference featuring 275+ miles of marked trails and additional details like elevation contours. It is available in both waterproof/tear-resistant Tyvek print format as well as digital app map format for your phone.

Trails in this park are maintained by Trail Conference volunteers.

Effective August 28, 2016, the trails within the Ramapo Valley Reservation's core recreational area have been reconfigured into a five-loop network by volunteers and staff of the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference. The work involved 7.2 miles of trail, including 1.2 miles of new construction and 6 miles of reblazing, and in the words of Bergen County Parks superintendent Todd Cochran, the goal of this revamped trail system within a 2-mile radius of the Route 202 parking lot was to provide "more interesting hikes with less confusion" for this very popular park. Read more about these trail changes here.

While this map may be free to use, our organization needs your support to help protect, build, and maintain more than 2,150 miles of trails throughout the region. Support the trails you love by:
