Public comment period for controversial Susquehanna-Roseland power line is extended

The National Park Service is extending the public comment period for alternatives routes for the proposed Susquehanna-Roseland transmission line that would cross the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
The comment period, which was scheduled to end Tuesday, has been extended until Sept. 14 because of the "the high level of public interest in the project," according to a National Park Service press release.
